IndianOil Introduces 4-Hour LPG Delivery with Indane XTRALITE NOW in Four Cities

Date:

IndianOil has unveiled Indane XTRALITE NOW, a new service offering four-hour home delivery of its lightweight 10 kg composite LPG cylinder, aimed at enhancing customer convenience and improving access to cooking gas.

The service has been launched initially in Pune, Gurugram, Indore, and Coimbatore, with plans to expand to additional cities in phases based on operational readiness and customer demand.

The initiative reflects IndianOil’s continued focus on digital innovation and customer-centric energy solutions. Indane XTRALITE NOW combines a lightweight composite LPG cylinder with an express home delivery service.

The new offering is designed to provide faster and more convenient access to LPG refills while allowing customers greater flexibility in scheduling deliveries. IndianOil stated that the service aims to simplify the LPG booking experience through digital platforms while improving transparency and convenience.

The newly launched service includes several customer-focused features:

  • Home delivery within four hours of booking.
  • Lightweight 10 kg composite LPG cylinder for easier handling.
  • Preferred delivery slot selection.
  • Seamless digital booking process.
  • Improved convenience and greater transparency.

The lightweight composite cylinder is expected to make handling and transportation easier for households and commercial users alike. Along with Indane XTRALITE NOW, IndianOil has also introduced four-hour home delivery for its 5 kg Indane Chhotu LPG cylinder.

The compact cylinder is commonly used by:

  • Small households.
  • Students.
  • Street vendors.
  • Small businesses.
  • Commercial establishments requiring portable LPG solutions.

The faster delivery service is expected to reduce waiting times and improve accessibility for customers requiring smaller LPG cylinders.

The express delivery service is currently available in:

  • Pune
  • Gurugram
  • Indore
  • Coimbatore

IndianOil has indicated that more cities will be added in future phases as the service expands nationwide. The company has integrated the service with digital booking options, allowing customers to place refill requests conveniently and select preferred delivery timings.

The initiative is intended to:

  • Reduce waiting periods.
  • Enhance delivery transparency.
  • Improve service efficiency.
  • Offer greater scheduling flexibility.

The move aligns with IndianOil’s broader digital transformation strategy for customer services.

The launch comes shortly after Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) introduced a pilot for on-demand LPG cylinder delivery through a partnership with Instamart in Bengaluru. That pilot enables customers to order selected LPG cylinders through a quick-commerce platform for doorstep delivery.

With IndianOil’s latest initiative, India’s major public-sector oil marketing companies continue to explore faster and more customer-friendly LPG distribution models.
