Sanjay Raut Criticises BJP, Raises Concerns Over Rising Drug Cases in Maharashtra..

Date:

MUMBAI, MAHARASHTRA — Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut has criticised the BJP over the issue of drug-related cases in Maharashtra, alleging a rise in such incidents across the state.

Speaking in Mumbai, Raut used the phrase “Udta BJP” to describe the situation, drawing attention to what he claimed is an increasing number of drug seizures in several major cities.

He said that cities like Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, and Satara are witnessing frequent drug-related incidents, suggesting that the problem is widespread and requires urgent attention.

Raut alleged that the situation has escalated to a point where drugs are “everywhere”, raising concerns about law enforcement and governance. He implied that the current administration has not been effective in controlling the issue.

The Shiv Sena (UBT) leader’s remarks are part of ongoing political exchanges in Maharashtra, where opposition leaders have been raising questions about law and order, while the ruling side has defended its record.

Political observers note that issues like drug trafficking and public safety often become key talking points in political debates, especially in urban regions where enforcement actions are more visible.

Sanjay Raut’s statement reflects the opposition’s criticism of the BJP’s governance in Maharashtra, focusing on concerns over the rise in drug-related activities and their impact on society.
