NCP (SP) Member of Parliament Supriya Sule addressed both political developments and a significant social occasion in Pune, highlighting alliance unity while paying tribute to social reformer Mahatma Jyotiba Phule on his 200th birth anniversary.

Speaking on political matters, Supriya Sule clarified that no individual invitation has been extended to her regarding recent developments, emphasizing that decisions will be taken collectively within the Mahavikas Aghadi alliance.

She stated that “no one has invited me” and that all decisions will be made together by the alliance, underlining the importance of unity and coordination within the Mahavikas Aghadi.

Her remarks reflect the alliance’s approach of collective decision making, especially at a time when political discussions and strategic decisions are gaining momentum in Maharashtra.

On the occasion of the 200th birth anniversary of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, Supriya Sule extended her greetings and paid tribute to the legendary social reformer. She highlighted the importance of his contributions to social justice, education, and equality.

She welcomed people with respect on the occasion and acknowledged that social change in the country began with Maharashtra, referring to the reformist movements led by leaders like Phule.

Mahatma Jyotiba Phule is widely regarded as a pioneer of social reform in India, particularly for his work towards the upliftment of marginalized communities and promotion of education, especially for women. His legacy continues to inspire social and political thought across the country.

Supriya Sule’s remarks on the occasion reflect a blend of political positioning and acknowledgment of historical contributions. While emphasizing alliance unity on one hand, she also highlighted Maharashtra’s role in shaping social reform movements.

Her statement underscores both the importance of collective political decision making and the enduring influence of social reformers like Mahatma Jyotiba Phule in shaping India’s progress.

As political activities continue in Maharashtra, such statements highlight the interplay between current political developments and historical legacy, both of which remain central to public discourse.

With alliance dynamics and social commemorations taking place simultaneously, Supriya Sule’s remarks reflect the evolving political and cultural narrative in the state.
